Chalk of the Town

This group began with teachers in mind, but it quickly expanded to include people in various service roles and anyone in any line of work or life.

We have some of the most insightful believers among us and enjoy sharing our stories. We grow together!

Chalkers meet at RiverPark in the Campus Center the last Saturday of each month from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 PM. It’s a time of great fellowship and blessing.

Our focus of study for the current calendar (2025) is season 2 of The Chosen. The study guide is available on Amazon and at Hobby Lobby. I have some extra copies available for $12.50 each.

How this works  is this way: Everyone watches the show in their own home and completes the lesson in the study guide.

We then bring our  insights about the show and lesson to the meetings which are open discussions of the specific episode.

Because the series includes many poignant and relevant scenes, its content often resonates with something in us all and at different levels.

We’re, therefore, encouraging each member to choose one episode in that second season and then facilitate the study for that meeting.

This is not mandatory, so don’t let that keep you from being with us.

Beginning in January 2024, we were blessed to add parent-paid childcare!

We ask that you let Nancy Vogler know a week in advance of your plans to attend and bring children so we may ensure our super attendant’s availability. Rates run $5-$10/child/hour. Charges may be determined between parents and our attendant.

Finally, together, as we seek to serve Jesus in our work and mission, we can help uplift and learn from one another.
